Restart until Austria rivals Bohemia.

Ally France to deter the Ottomans (or anyone) from declaring war on you.

RM Bohemia and get some prestige until you have more than Bohemia.

Get the PU with Lithuania.

As soon as the Bohemian king dies, declare for the Bohemian throne.

Congrats, you now have the power of Poland, Lithuania and Bohemia at your disposal.

Annihilate the Teutonic Order and the other Baltic nations.

If possible, grab some russian province needed for Muscovy to form Russia.

Destroy Muscovy and eat your way through Central Asia to get to India while integrating Mazovia/Bohemia/other potential vasalls/PUs to form the Commonwealth.

Capture all the trade centers on your way to the south-east.

Conquer the Indians and put the Indian provinces into trade companies to get free merchants and steer the Indian riches to Europe.

Bonus points for getting a border with Ming to tank their mandate and eating them after consolidating India for even moar cash.

In the meantime, whenever a good possibility arises, jump on the Ottos to kill the last threat remaining to you.

Make Constantinople your trade capital and feed it with the asian riches.

Voila, Poland rules the world.

I don't understand, you can't declare war until the Jagellion event fires.

Ofcourse you are right, I mixed up the sequence.

You get the Lithuania PU first, then the Bohemia one.

I edited my post, thanks for the hint.

The rest of the post still stands, with Poland I recommend grabbing both the PUs, crushing the Baltics and Muscovy and then (mainly) go eastwards to India. Build up our power outside of Central Europe until you can crush anyone.

In my current Poland game, it´s 1620 and I am already in India and have a border with Ming.

My development is about France and Ottomans combined, plus some fat, juicy vassals in Georgia and Persia.

Moscow, Kopenhagen, Berlin, Constantinople and Stockholm (and more) are also rightfully polish clay.

After the Jagellion event Poland can't get or enforce personal unions until they abolish the seljim? Aside from the rare dynasty event IIRC, or maybe I'm just thinking of the one where you get a claim on land.

Poland can get PUs just fine. It's only the other way round that is restricted to event-awarded CBs.

The trick with Bohemia is it has to be in a game where Austria rivals Bohemia (so they don't defend the empire), and you either have to get a lucky event, or do a small war against the Teutons in order to get the prestige that you need, as Bohemia starts with more than Poland.
