Help with Ottomans

So i started a new game as Ottomans empire and found it really difficult to manage it... All capitalists are unacceptated culture so they seems to building nothing at all...i played just for couple years and dont know how to handle with it also im not very familiar with with VIP events chains so i uselessly fought wars against Egypt and went in debt...anyway...any tips for playing Ottomans?

You've already figured out the biggest tip. Promote national pops to capitalists!

I had forgotten about that little glitch, actually. I wonder if the new version of VIP will have that whole non-national capitalist thing fixed, or if that was actually an intentional glitch to keep the Ottomans the sick man of Europe.
