Help with Modding a EUG File.

Hey guys. Hope ya can help me out here. I'm new to modding and am trying to edit a save game. I modified the territories and capitals of Texas, the USA, and CSA. When I load the game as the CSA, my IC drops to zero. What's wrong?

Did you edit the IC placement?

Messing with EUG's is more for editing scenarios from scratch, not tinkering with save games.

To Maggern: I didn't touch the ic placement, and it says the ic is still there, but yet, on the production screen my ic drops and resources go into the red.


To HMS: Would editing the EUG of the save game work? Or would I have to edit the scenarios?

Also, when I load the game I get an error message which says the game files have errors.

I couldnt tell you what is wrong based on what you have said but remember what I said earlier...If you want to mod certain things about a scenario, start from scratch with a new one, it will be a lot easier to track your progress and any mistakes.

The files in this game are fickle, a misplaced } or . and you will get errors.
