Help with Leader Editor

When i installed the 2.1b version and tried to open the files it says that there is an access violation at a certain address in the editor EXE file. So why?

For the record:
EU 1.09 + IGC 2.3

Any hints,tips?

IIRC the readme file for the leadereditor says something about you have to delete a certain leader file to getting it work. Could it be leader.chi!? It was a leader file that isnt used by the original patch annyway.

It says "Now compatible with IGC 2.3, BUT the file leaders.chi must be deleted first! It's located in your DB\leaders folder. It's not used by the game btw."

I know I missed this sometimes, other then that Im not sure...

AARRGHH! Thanks Yoghurt!

I didnt pay enough attention to the" first " (!).
So i have to delete the .chi leaders file before i install
the leader editor. Thats been my fault. Ouch!

Oh yeah!

If you are running it against your IGC installation, you have to run the IGCConfig utility and "RESET" IGC back to the defaults before running the Leader Editor, too. Otherwise, in my case, you get that access violation error while loading the Monarchs.

That only took me about an hour to figure out.
