Help with Italy (Germany+Italy vs. UK+USSR)

I posted this first in the multiplayer section but after examining the other posts there I'm not sure if that section is only for organizing multiplayer games. If this is the wrong place for this thread I'm sorry.

We are playing DD version 1.3a

The title says it all. Some pointers to what I should do would be greatly appreciated. The German player is the most experienced one of us all by far so he will manage almost without my help. The UK player is likely to call most/all of his ships to the European theatre to secure the Med and I think that will be my biggest concern. The USSR player will build a lot of infantry and send em coming, nothing fancy.

We are planning to start the war earlier than normal to benefit from the IC penalty the allies have. Any tips on defeating/pushing back the royal navy and securing the med? Also I know that the UK player will build a considerable air force (like he should), how should I react to that with my limited IC?

All gamey tactics are good to go since our enemies are sure to use them too.

You could avoid fighting the Mediterranean till 1940 (don´t deploy any troops there, let the british take all N. Africa, after the Fall o france go for Gibraltar, you will need good mountains div and air superiority (wether you ally Spain o invade is up to the german player) avoid fighting the RN in the Mediterranean unless you have air superiority. After the fall of France invade yug and greece annex them. set up god beach defenses

Once Gibraltar is under axis rule prepare to invade Turkey (from spain naval bases (Galicia)attack english convoys )and try to reach Suez thru Turkey and Irak with some tanks and infantry, you wont need to fight for naval superiority.

With Gibraltar and Suez under your control (let the british keep Tripoli and all those provinces, they are not going to have supplies there anyway) the Mediterranean sea is closed for the allies and you can use all those troops in Russia instead of defending the Mediterranean sea. (keep a good Army in Suez though)
You have closed the Med for the allies without using your fleet and opened a new front for the Russian (the caucasian mountains) if you are strong enough you may try to send some forces to invade India but the Uk will probably have good defenses there since he doesnt need to def the Mediterranean anymore.
