Hello. I have been inactive for a long period of time and due to personal problems. Having lost/damaged all my old games (and my computer as well), I decided to start again by buying HoI Anthology (and another game).
1. Game versions: Anthology contains HoI v. 1.06c, HoI2 & HoI2 DD v. 1.3a (JCJS) and HoI2 Armageddon v. 1.1 (GKCW). ARE THESE THE LATEST VERSIONS?
2. Manuals: The only documentation provided is a paper booklet outlining HoI2. I cannot find the manuals (for all 4 games) among the installed files. I still remember HoI thru HoI2 DD (and I can play them by memory) but Armageddon is new to me. WHERE I CAN FIND/DOWNLOAD COPIES OF THESE MANUALS?
3. Strategy/Modding: BESIDES HoI2 Wiki & THIS FORUM (OTHERWISE BOTH FROM GOOD TO EXCELLENT) ARE THERE OTHER RESOURCES FOR STARTEGY AND MODDING?
4. Time limit Mod: I remember a “no time limit mod”. WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THIS MOD (FOR ALL GAMES)? BUT, BETTER, CAN I “DELAY” THE END TO 1-5 YEARS AFTER THE GAMES’ SET DATE (RATHER THAN AN UNREALISTIC FUTURE)?
5. Scenario Editor (for all games): I cannot figure it out. IS THERE AN “HOW TO USE” GUIDE?
6. Gaming Directory: With my old/original games I made the mistake not to copy the files with the result of messing/corrupting the files (and the disc). This time I copied all the files of the 4 Anthology games (in a desktop folder “Archives”, subfolder “War Room”). SHOULD I PLAY THE GAME FROM THE C: DIRECTORY (WHERE WAS ORIGINALLY INSTALLED) OR FROM THE “WAR ROOM”?
7. Mods by CORE/DAIM/etc.: WITH REF. TO ABOVE DIRECTORIES, WHERE SHOULD I DOWNLOAD THESE MODS (C: OR “WAR ROOM”)?
