It seam that I cant registrate the game on the forum. I have a five code syntax but the forum use 4 help?

But the first thing you should try is still to write the letters into the forums keycode reader letter for letter. (And skip the letters at the end, or add X until it is filled up)
So if your code is 11111-22222-33333-44444-55555 you write them in as 1111-1222-2233-3334-4444-5555 (and skip the last 5)
And if your code is 11111-22222-33333-44444 you write it in as 1111-1222-2233-3334-4444-XXXX
So start with that and see if it helps.

well is is 11111-22222-33333. And I do buy it from steam, thought I am forces to install it... dam you steam!

I've bought Fire and Sword from Steam too and it says invalid key. It's 4x4 characters, while the forum wants 6x4 characters. Adding multiple X won't do it. What to do?
BTW, is it that hard to have the same serial key "syntax" for every distributor? Doh!

Well, there has never been any problems with any Paradox produced games, but M&B is produced by a second company (and sold by a third - Steam).

Bought a Hard Copy CD, all I got is a activation code which seems good for nothing, help please!
The Hard Copy CD is just for installing Steam. The activation code with the CD is for activating the game via Steam. After that you can look for the game code in Steam and try to activate the icon here.
I am also having trouble registering my game. I have a 4x4 cd key, and have tried everything from putting X's at the end to just leaving the boxes 5 and 6 open. Nothing works.
Just so you know - there seems to be some problem with getting Taleworlds to share their latest key set with Paradox, so they haven't being added to the forums recognition system.
Paradox have asked for the keys, and when they come around they will be entered (likely with a large amount of manual work since it is a non-standard key format) and the fact will be reported in this forum.

I got a 4x4 code too, and the x thing wont work either. So I guess I should just wait until Paradox uppdates its key list? I can survice that
I bought this game almost a month ago, and I fully understand they have more important stuff to do, but it is starting to piss me off.
I'm very unhappy to not be able to give you good news, and I know that Kallocain is very unhappy to not be able to enter the keys (despite the fact that last time she got the keys she had to spend six hours putting them into the system). Still, the only consolation I can offer is that you are only missing out on a shiny icon. Everything else is open :/
