Help to deal with Denmark

Hello, I'm playing a game with Prussia and won a war against Denmark. I annexed Danish Schleswig-holstein and sphered Denmark, because I thought Holstein would be sphered too. But now I have Denmark sphered and Holstein as a danish satellite, without any diplomatic relation with me. How can I add Holstein to sphere? If I have to start another game or invade Denmark again I don't care.
Another quick question: do I need Alsace-Lorraine to form North German Confederation?

Just sphere Holestein. You can sphere other countries satellites. You don't need Alsace-Lorraine to form NGF, but you do for Germany, unless you accept the crown from the gutter.
