Help theorycrafting Austria-Hungary.

So, I plan on playing an Austria Hungary game once the new DLC drops, and the wheels in my mind are very much turning.

I think it is best to build infrastructure until you get rid of the Treaty of Trianon, though I'm iffy on that. It seems a definite that you absolutely need to beeline getting rid of that, however.

I'm not sure what the first advisor should be, ordinarily I would take a theorist, but the extra construction speed from a war industrialist would come in handy given how behind you'll start.

Another thing that is on my mind is division composition and doctrines. Superior Firepower seems to be the optimal choice, and I would think you would need Field Hospitals at the very least.

Now, my personal desire when it comes to Austria Hungary is to reform the Central Powers, which since Germany is busy being Fascist essentially leaves me with Turkey and Bulgaria. However, Finland and Poland were both technically part of the Central Powers, so would it be accurate for the reformed Central Powers to include them?

Otherwise, any thoughts to add or comments would be welcome.

Finland wasn't part of the Central Powers, it was part of the Russian Empire, same for Poland...

Indeed Finland was a part of Russia, but in the final months of the war when Finland declared it's independence, it was heavily aligning itself towards Germany and thus the central powers. German troops intervened in the following Finnish civil war and later when the Whites won the civil war it was planned to have a German king rule Finland.
So to say that Finland was a part of the central powers is a bit of a stretch, but since Finland was essentially in the German sphere of influence, it's not completely wrong either.

Since you'll very likely go up against Germany sooner or later, I think it'd be best to give the WW1 scenario thing a low priority and start setting up border defenses for a 1866 scenario instead...

The Finland part was just something I read on Wikipedia, but I know that after Russia surrendered Germany set up a Polish client state, so technically Poland was a member of the Central Powers.
