actually now considering the maps, i think that Zucks map would be best, just as long as we know what countries are which!

Try comparing it to the EUII map and see for yourself.

The Northern Colonies which are marked off would be New England, then Virginia, and then Carolina. I really didnt want to include that much of any of the states, especially Georgia and New York, but it would present too many limitations if we didnt. If anyone has any suggestions, please tell me, and I will look at them.

I am not really sure on what timeframe we're really working ATM. But I'd like to point out that Bengal shouldn't belong to the British before the Seven Years War. It was then conquered by them, the Nawab of Bengal being an ally of the French. The coast south of Bengal was also French territory back then, AFAIK.

Couldn't we just use Lombardia for the Cisalpine Republic, and the Papal States for the Roman one?

I think there's also need for a tag for Dzungaria in Xinjiang (a Mongolian kingdom conquered by the Chinese in 1758) beside Mongolia proper. Perhaps one of the already-existing Khanates could be used? And I'm quite sure there's no Mongolia TAG.

good work bandman, they look ok for borders of the 3 US colonies. But what states should get what leaders? hmmm...seems we over looked that..

And about India, yes i know that it was only British from 1757 odd. But yes we need a tag for Bengal and maybe a few events for them to become French allies etc.

We have enough tags maybe to create the Cisalpine Republic and the Roman Republic, that would leave us with about 11 tags! Plus its cool to have them!

The standard flag should be a reversal of the Genoan one (i. e., the bars extending to the edge).

Ok here are some Indian tribes that i think we should include :

These are the most important northern tribes, these would help the French and Indian wars be a bit more "Indian"

We should also add some of VIP's African nations, just because they were around at this time as well.

French kings gave it to papal states in 1274. But was occupied by the French between 1768-1774 when France had diplomatic problems with Papal States.

On February 4th 1794 the National Convention decided to Abolish slavery in all French colonies due to the Haitian revolt, which started that year. Slavery would be restored in 1803 but in 1848 the French would abolish it again.

During the French Revolutionary wars the nations next door to France were plotting its downfall. Austria, Prussia, Spain, Portugal, Sardinia and Britain were all allied against France, but should we leave the Italian states out of this war or make sure they have freedom and liberty?

The Ligurian Republic
Once France had occupied the Republic of Genoa they set up a French puppet republic under the title the Ligurian republic. The republic would be later absorbed into the French empire but for now it was a free republic friendly to the Revolution.

The Cisalpine Republic was a French puppet state that consisted of lands from the Duchy of Milan, Venice, and Modena and Papal legations.
Its first president (Director) was Serbelloni. The Republic was occupied in 1799 by Austria but was restored after the battle of Marnego in 1800. In 1802 it became the Italian Republic and in 1805 the Kingdom of Italy.

During the revolution the governments of Robspierre had created a hatred of the church, so the Pope was almost enemy No. 1. When the French invaded Italy, they created puppet states, for example the Cisalpine Republic, the Ligurian Republic etc. When the French took Rome, they created the Roman Republic, this only lasted a few years untill the French and the Pope came to an agreement over lands and power.
