Hi, I would like to ask to the expert and, I hope, gentle modders around the necessar steps needed to pass the complete control and possession of one province from one ruler to other, in a save game or scenario file.
I have tried... with very unlucky ressults. Once, I just only got the flag of that I pretended to be the new owner (as when you control a same religion province during a war) but not its real control. Other tries have ressulted in CtDs as the scenario tried to load.
An example to illustrate this. Let's say the Almuratibids have taken... Gloucester, after a war with the English king and are finally at peace. I would desire to pass back that province to the English king demesne, from the Almuratibids king demesne. Normally, if the Almuratibids were christian I would just log as them, grant that land to a courtier, then save, edit the savegame and cut the liegedom links and pass them to the new desired owner (or just leave them free). But with muslims I'm quite screwed.
The reasons for doing so, is my AAR writting, since I'm trying to enforce in 5-10 years checkups throughout the map, Mad King James' "supply rules".
I don't mind the 'Shiekdom of Praha effect', since I just cut the vassal link from that said shiekdom and make the nearest christian potence declare war on him (I have done this the opposite way, making the 'County of Cairo' free from his polish lord and then making them declare war to the still existing and strong fatimids). But when we are talking about muslim demesne, with the capita still being in Africa, but with territories he would not possibly be able to hold in peace, I'm completely helpless.
The idea is to get a ressult where I will get neat maps for my storytelling, no matter how much work it will get to accomplish so.
So, I would thank you any advice on the matter of the places I have to adjust to make this work.
Thanks in advance
