Hi, before i start could you please answer all my questions ofcourse if you know the answer.

1. Whenever i used to play previous paradox games like hoi3 or eu3, if i wanted to change some files i mean to add or change something i would copy paste the game into another hard drive and then whatever i made changes it would not affect the original game. However i tried to do that with ck2 and when i copied to another hard drive there were no dlc like when you want to click the button for the game it doesnt show the dlc but in the c drive where i keep my original game it shows, could anybody help me with this? I mean if i want to add a new character or dynasty do i have to use
the mod file so i can play with the dlc's or can i just do it like i used do it before.

2. I wanted to add some music into the music folder but all i see is this ogg. file which i never saw before, does that mean i have to convert my mp3 to those files or can i still have the mp3 in the music folder. Also how do you add more music?

3. Can you change the names of the castles/temples/cities in the folder 'provinces'? Example I've seen that in the Rama province which belongs to the Bosnian kingdom there are some names which dont belong to the middle age like sarajevo, because sarajevo was created in the 2nd half of the 15th century.

4. Why is it when you invite a character to your court he has the surname of a town and not a normal surname? Dont get me wrong when you start the game with william the conqueror it has the courtiers with surnames like 'de brevere' or 'mowbray' but later characters only have surnames like 'of winchester' or 'of oxford'.

5. And the last question can you change the end date i mean can you play beyond 1452 and if you can where do you change the end date, in which folder?

6. (Added) Can you add a culture i mean i would like to add bosnian culture is that possible and if you can how do you do that?

Sorry about my english, its not my first language...

You can copy arround like before (speaking for the GG-Version without steam). Technically it should also be possible for the steam-version.
The only difference is that the game makes a folder in "my documents". That might cause your problem ...

2. I wanted to add some music into the music folder but all i see is this ogg. file which i never saw before, does that mean i have to convert my mp3 to those files or can i still have the mp3 in the music folder. Also how do you add more music?
Yeah, the files must be *.ogg. Just go to www.google.de and write MP3 to OGG converter and millions of programms will show.
To add new songs you'll also make a reference in the %gamedir%\music\songs.txt file.

3. Can you change the names of the castles/temples/cities in the folder 'provinces'? Example I've seen that in the Rama province which belongs to the Bosnian kingdom there are some names which dont belong to the middle age like sarajevo, because sarajevo was created in the 2nd half of the 15th century.
You have a good chance to find it in the localisation folder... otherwise look here...

The people with other names have "nicknames" (like the conquerer). Those can be found and moded in %gamedir%\common\nicknames.txt

5. And the last question can you change the end date i mean can you play beyond 1452 and if you can where do you change the end date, in which folder?

6. (Added) Can you add a culture i mean i would like to add bosnian culture is that possible and if you can how do you do that?
Possible. Can be found in %gamedir%/common/cultures.txt
Just copy some other culture and there you go.

No prob, most people here -me including- have some serious trouble with english, too
