[HELP] New Weapon Slot Type

Quick question, does anyone have a guide to how to make a new weapon mount? I tried to google and use the search here, but couldnt find any info on it.

What I am aiming to do:

I want to create a new weapon slot, called COMMAND (C). This should then become available for new custom weapons I am developing.

Short answer is that it's not possible - 100% won't work.

Yeah, really hoping they make weapon slot types scriptable... But alas not.
