Help me get Damien as my heir

So playing in Brittany, had managed to take 2 provinces. Changed to Elective Monarchy to keep the lands together.

Join West Francia hoping that there would be enough of the Brittany lands together to make the King make me Duke, but no he puts my under the vassalage of the Duke of Bourbon??? Anyhow, eventually take all 4 independent counties, but as I am under a Duke I can't become a Duke. So my latest heir rises and I choose the seduction focus cause why not. I seduce the Duchess of Normandy, who happens to hold the 2 original french Brittany provinces. We have a kid and I legitimise him, so he is her heir. He starts the evil one path.

My issue is, I would like the Devil Spawn as my heir, but due to the elective nature of my realm I am the only one willing to vote for him. Is there a way to get more of the mayors and bishops behind him and not the eldest relative or my actual son?

I should note that he has not risen to hold the duchy as yet.

He'll start killing the people who stand between him and his inheritance on his own. But I think it'll be tough to get him elected deliberately unless you help him murder the other candidates.

Problem being that I can't murder my own son and will he stop once he murders his mum and becomes Duke?

Give other candidates an army or appoint them as chancellor/spy master, and send them to take a vacation in some beautiful place.
Like a place I heard which is infested by black death in this season.

Electors typically won't vote for a child either.

You'll need to switch to a different inheritance law; if you already have, then let your heir do it when he comes of age. The demon-spawn will take care of that inheritance for you, at that point.
