1st is a traffic situation in my residential area.

I believe because of this silly behaviour its causing all the traffic problems

My goodness these guys..

I've built multiple cargo train stations. But they just wanna use the same one.

I had 6 lane one way roads and it was just as bad.

I've loads of different stations for them.

But I just think the cargo train stations are really badly designed.

Any tips?

For the road one the first video
Remove that building that's just being built and put a slip road to allow traffic to filter to the right

And then a bit further back in the opposite side have traffic filter off and go under your highway or over and carry on and allow the earlier slip road to join thus allowing you to remove the junction altogether

Can't help on the cargo one as I don't usually 2 opposite each other (not sure if I'm wrong by not doing so) but that obvious is the bottle neck

Probably widen the road there and again create little slip roads to leave and go to cargo hub and rejoin

The first video seems a matter of a very popular destination being on the other side of a single way in.

Recall every car there is taking its shortest projected travel time. Essentially this intersection is a point in too many cars’ shortest projected route and they all end up here.

With the train, there are likely some problems with your industrial and commercial arrangements. That many trucks exporting on a train or returning to facility after importing can be a symptom of importing too much for lack of local production.

Also, notice the inbound traffic crosses the outbound. If you arrange it opposite, cars exiting will flow away from cars entering and this will create a better situation.

Here’s a way to make that happen.
