Today when trying to load a map i have been creating in the map editor i keep receiving the error message below. I have spent over 100 hours creating the map over the last couple of months and never received the error message previously. I have been using a number of mods and assets in the editor but didn't change any before the error started and have tried to unsubscribe from them all and gradually add some to try and find out if one is causing the problem. However even when i am subscribed to nothing the message still appears, has anyone else had this and know of how i might be able to fix it?

I have started a new map in the editor yesterday night to test and this one so far seems to be fine.

Unfortunately, it might be caused by a mod that was designed for the simulation. They tend to break in the editors, so I recommend disabling all mods you don't absolutely need when working on a map.

Of course that doesn't help you now. Start by disabling all mods you don't absolutely need for the editor, especially any that deal with vehicles or public transport. Leave the Loading Screen Mod on (if you have it, if not subscribe to it and enable it), and before going into the editor, go into Options and enable the Safe Mode options. Hopefully that will do the trick - even if the error is there, try saving the map as a new file to see if that removes the effect from whatever mod might be acting up.

If that doesn't help, I have some ideas for how you can at least restore most of the map on a "fresh" one without any mods that might break things. But hopefully it won't come to that.

Thank you Avanya,

I saved the map after the error was still there when opening in safe mode and that seems to have mostly fixed the problem, just some of my networks have disappeared and the water has disappeared but thats easy enough to fix :)

I'm not sure which mod caused the problem, the only vehicle related one i had enabled was bus only roads so i assume that was causing the problem.
