In my current game, AI Great Britain has established two colonies in North America, Newfoundland and Thirteen Colonies, with liberty desire being 88 and 69 respectively. I want to get some of their east coast clay, but I can't fight GB and her colonies directly, so I figure that it would be optimal to have them break away first. Anyway, the problem therein being that I don't know how to encourage them to leave their union. I can only support particularists in Newfoundland and I don't know what exactly will be the positives of supporting the particularists or the CN's independence, and how exactly to fix it so that one or either of their colonial counterparts will leave and be easier to subjugate. Ideas?
