Only that if you release Castile (or later Spain) they will get most of your provinces and you'll be shrunk again. Perhaps releasing Portugal is a good idea though...

I used some of these tips for a 2 player MP game (no, the other player was NOT Castile :p), and they worked like a charm. I snapped up the Iberian Peninsula in no time. My problem is the aftermath: I don't seem to be making enough money to convert anyone, and the cost to regain stability is so high (even with mostly narrowminded and serfs) that I spend half my time regaining stability. Any ideas for getting money in this situation?

Conquer northern Africa, because most of the people there are Arabs and muslim. That should improve things i think...

I am sorry to play the spoiler here, but if you are losing time after time with a minor country, then may be you should try to play:

a.- a bigger country
b.- a lower difficulty.

Why would you want to play a wonderful strategy game like EU2 just to follow a recipy from somebody else? where is then the strategy?
