Hello. I have a problem in the game Hearts of Iron 4. For some reason, my divisions fight very badly. I create a good army, with normal supplies, with a normal divisional template, with air support, but somehow they just fight disgustingly. For Germany, I can't even beat the Benelux countries and Poland. I was now playing for Germany and attacked Poland. My divisions could not do anything, but when I moved to Poland with the help of the "spectator" command, the bot for Germany with my divisions was able to defeat Poland, but if during the battle I move back to Germany, then my divisions again become ineffective. What is this bug? What should I do?
I attached the save of my game, there I play with the mod "The road to 56" on version 1.9.3. But, I assure you, my problem has nothing to do with the mod, I have this problem on any version and it doesn't matter if there are mods or not. Previously, this problem did not arise at all.

It’s most likely a combination of the AI making use of
1. Planning bonus
2. Concentration of tank divisions during a push
3. Setting attack mode to “aggressive”
4. Using command power for “force attack”

What combat width are your divisions? Have you watched any Germany tutorials?

OK I just loaded up your save game. There are a couple of serious issues I found:

1. You have 2 motorized battalions mixed in with your infantry divisions. It's important to know that motorized infantry has absolutely no benefit over regular infantry, except for speed (4 vs 12 km/h) Keep in mind that a division is only as fast as the slowest battalion, so your mixed divisions are as slow as regular infantry. Motorized divisions only have 10% more hardness IF you research the 1943 tech, which is far too late to actually matter if you're struggling to invade Poland in 1938. Now, there is actually one crippling drawback to using trucks: fuel usage. At the beginning of the war, your fuel stockpiles are full. However, having 2 motorized battalions in every division will drain fuel like crazy, I would expect you to run out of fuel after a couple of months of non stop combat.

2. For some reason you have dedicated 21 factories to trucks, and trucks alone. Out of a total of around 50 factories. This may be necessary if your army is motorized, but since mixed INF/MOT divisions are effectively infantry that chugs fuel, the factories are completely wasted, producing useless trucks that do more damage to the war economy than the enemy.

3. It is 1938 and you have a total of 180 fighters. I think Poland starts with more than 180 planes in 1936, so you will likely be unable to gain air superiority. Air superiority is absolutely crucial to any offensive. If you do not have air supremacy, it is necessary to at least have enough fighters to intercept enemy bombers. The lack of fighters is caused by only having 1 (one) factory dedicated to fighters. Produce less trucks and use those factories to make more planes.

4. A relatively minor issue is that your light tank divisions only have 27 org. A unit with low organization will retreat very quickly after entering combat. For tank divisions you generally want at least 30 org.

I don't know why the AI is more successful at attacking than you are, but if you adjust your strategy I think you won't have too much trouble beating Poland

I would suggest watching some tutorials and playthroughs on youtube.
Also you should not be using mods before you understand the base game in my opinion.

The errors pointed out by KDestroy makes me think you are a new player, there is no shame in going back to learning the basics.
This game will take a lot of time to master. :)
