hi
perhaps some of you can help me how to make this events for japan:
1) If china anex manchuria and/or korea you should get manshu and korean as state culture + korean province become your core province
also some boni on land inovation

2) If you have taiwan as colony or captured it should become your core province and also change culture to japanise

could you perhaps help me to make this events or teach me how to make them ?

You could make an event trigger as long soon as the province is owned by anyone not being Japan (most probably China) that sets a flag.

AND
If it was Japan who colonized it, you won't need to change the culture...

(There might be more ways to do this, but not any that I came to think of now.)

effect = addcore + 4900 people

or

effect = chageculture and - some people (the flew back to their country)

If Japan owns Taiwan and it's not Japanese culture, they obvious conquered it, if it has japanese culture and the previous event didn't trigger (if that one makes it japanese), they probably colonized it...

ok i try it

if it doesn´t work i use Khephren ones
(its not as bad as to have the culture change twiche, made some prusian/Brandenburg eventchanges, and the game don´t chrash. You probebly know that already...)

Khephren ones work for both situations (colony,conquer) so i think i use his ones

ohh and 1 question :
whats the difference btw flavor- major- and special- events ?

Nothing, it is just a way of categorising events for countries

Flavour = small events that highlight famous people, for example Mozart, Bach etc, that provide a small benefit, little else.

Major = events that can have a big impact on the country or over a larger area, Hundred Years War for example.

Special = um....not entirely sure, a specisl event for the country?

These categories are not necessary, its just what paradox have done. You can have an event file called USAindep.txt with everything to do with America in it, if you like, as long as it is included in the events.txt.

No difference - and you can reuse a saved game, but you have to load it anew after editing the files .. and you have to make sure you have formatted events right and that file hasn't been changed into 'copy of flavor_nip.txt' or 'flavor_nip.doc' or something like that when saving the changed file.. :)

Its still a *.txt file but, dont work with my saved game...
as china anexed manchuria and korea nothing happed (in save game only korea still exist but i hope this dont take a effect. Also the tawian event dont werk perhaps because i still owned it so i have to make a new game ?)

Strange...they should work. Only thing I can think of is the offsets. Change the offset to 0 if you want them to fire immediately. ( They still probably should have fired upon loading)
