I'm experiencing an almost nauseating level of flickering at the edge of my screen when CK3 is the focused app. This disappears immediately if I focus on another app, regardless of what screen that other app is on.

I've tried working through various graphics settings and nothing seems to have an impact here. If I run the game in a window with a reduced resolution, the screen flicker is visible at the edge of the monitor rather than CK3, but again as soon as I alt-tab to any other programme the flickering will stop.

I'm not aware of other such reports.

Does it matter what Display mode the game is in?

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach your Documents/Paradox/CK3/pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox/CK3/logs/ folder, attach system.log , error.log

No difference in display modes or settings that I can tell. The problem seems to grow worse over time, though, and is especially noticable if I've been tabbing back and forth between the game and other apps.

One thing that seems to reset it is changing the resolution of the primary display, then cancelling that change, and then changing the resolution of the game and resetting it to the previous resolution. That buys me a bit of time before the flicker returns, but it always returns.

Requested files attached.

Update to the update - spoke too soon. The flicker came back, and further changes to the vsync setting in the nvidia control panel is not having any impact.

I've disabled Gsync for the monitor all together, and that's removed the flicker again for the time being. Will report back if it returns.

I see you have 3 monitors, does it happen on all of them?
