I want to delve into CK modding with a fairly minor project that consists of little more than altering the setup in a few starts. Although not entirely new to modding itself, I'd appreciate a few pointers as to which files I'd go about changing if I want to do the following:
  • Alter title history (including, but not limited to, China)
  • Add ongoing wars at certain dates (in the vein of, War of two Eriks)
  • Add characters, merge (and remove) dynasties
  • Alter pruning, in particular the immediate killing of any living relatives to the Emperor of China (except Borjigin)
  • Add succession effects, such as destruction of titles
  • Add new titles and decisions to create said titles
  • Alter events and other things related to transitions in China (succession, successful invasions etc)
I'm not asking for in depth guides - just file locations and perhaps heads up if anything is hard coded.

Finally, I'm wondering about how much of the Nomadic Government that is modable. Among other things, I want to alter the obligatory empire level realm tier (and of course king tier clans) make adjustments to "Minor Clan rising" revolts. Is this possible at all? I've heard that Merchant Republics are fairly hard to mod due to lots of special rules and figured the same might be true for Nomads.
