I will wait for your pack. Regarding your proposals I'm against assigning to Turkey 6 for mathematics and more than 3/4 for navy. For comparison please check the fourth and fifth navy of WWII the skill they got.

Skill 5 sounds fine for Cahit Arf (mathematics).

Paradox gave the Admiral Skill 5, I just didn't lower it. I see no problem with a Skill 4.

Most colonies were used for something. Either to produce food and/or to produce raw materials. Thus there are usually mines and agricultural companies that can be used.
Banks are OK, where they were very important. For example Panama have a lot of banks. But MOZ and ANG had the Banko Ultramarinho, but it was just a bank for the colonies. Nothing that would characterize the country.

I agree

Looking at Nigeria closer, a few of the TT's start on or after 1964, meaning they won't even be used as the game ends January 1964. I suggest they be removed.

Also, some TT's are Skill 1, with only one Trait, I think a few could use more traits. Or else the AI will just use a higher skilled team with no matches.

Also, what is up with the German Air Force guy?

Suggestions for Jordan. Note that only two of the teams have startdate before 1940. One might give them a bit more specialities (e.g. management to the mines and ind.eng. to the power plant) and remove the three teams that comes into play in the fifties.

Code:
153xx;Jordan Cement Factories Company;T_JOR_Cement;2;1951;1970;chemistry;industrial_engineering;management;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;x
153xx;Jordan National Bank;T_JOR_Bank;2;1955;1970;management;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;x
193xx;Jordan Petroleum Refinery;T_JOR_Petroleum;3;1958;1970;chemistry;technical_efficiency;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;x
193xx;Jordan Phosphate Mines;T_JOR_Phosphate;2;1935;1970;chemistry;industrial_engineering;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;x
193xx;The Jordanian Electric Power Company;T_JOR_Electric;2;1938;1970;electronics;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;x

I'm unsure about the proper country for Arab Bank (http://www.arabbank.com/en/thefounder.aspx), which currently have its HQ in Jordan.

Added all but the National Bank

No because of the time extension to 1970

Also, some TT's are Skill 1, with only one Trait, I think a few could use more traits. Or else the AI will just use a higher skilled team with no matches.

right

However, you cannot play that far correct? Similiar to how the code starts in 1930, but the Game starts in 1936?

If not, I will keep it in mind in my future work, but I was understanding that the longer dates were for code purposes, and the game is only 1936-1964.

Colonel G Kahtz

Founder of the Nigerian air force...

Colonel Gerhard Kahtz can be described as the first Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) of the NAF. However, he was officially designated as the Commander of the NAF. He had the onerous task of building up an Air Force for Nigeria when the agreement for that purpose was signed between Nigeria and Germany in 1963.

Born on 26 November 1922 in Durlach, Germany, Colonel Kahtz was a professional architect, before his commission as an officer into the German Air Force.
He served the GAF as a Luftwaffe pilot during the Second World War during which he was decorated with the prestigious Iron Cross for his courage and devotion to duty.

He started literally from the scratch, as he had no troops, aircraft, support services or training equipment on ground.
However, by the end of his tour of duty on 23 November 1965, a functional NAF existed with an operational base in Kaduna and administrative headquarters in Lagos. It was the firmness and quality of the foundation he laid, that saw the NAF through a civil war and to the height it attained in later years.
His administration brought the first set of aircraft into the NAF inventory. Among these is the Allouette helicopter and fixed wing aircraft such as the DO-27, the Piaggio and the Nord Atlas.

This guy in reality arrived in Nigeria in 1963. That is only because Nigeria was liberated in 1960, so I just gave him 1950 as the start date in case of ahistorical scenarios. Some start-date tweaking (for appropriate TTs) has to be done if former colonies are to have any TTs at all before their real year of liberation. If Nigeria is to be very relevant in HOI at all it must be liberated earlier than it did irl

Since Nigeria was liberated in 1960 some TTs will naturally have a late start year. They may be relevant for some mods from what I know.

Some of those teams may not deserve a higher skill level and more specialties, but if that is a necessity if they are to used by the AI so be it. I may be a bit harsh too, compared to the skill level paradox have appointed to a lot of TTs.

So we are left with two alternatives, since Nigeria and many other former colonies were liberated in the 60s.

Alternative one is to give the TTs an earlier start year. Alternative two is to let them have none or very few.

Alternative one will make them owerpowered and alternative two will make them underpowered. If you ask me, the former colonies alreay are seriously underpowerd.

The independent movement usually started earlier,
The industry was there, so they are present from '36. Some might not, like many oil companies.
Navy, military and air force would form as soon as the government is up (might not have any ships or aircrafts, but the organisation is there and they are looking for a way to expand).

As for people one can get their start date a bit earlier.

No because you can extend the game until the 70s and even behind that

The focus in on those dates but we don't remove any TT that starts late

Well, for one, you have the automotive company (it has the Mercedes-Benz Logo) only having Technical Efficiency? Seriously, it can have Mechanics as well...

Also, Cardus, the tag for Communist Ukraine is not CUK, but CKR.

Well, I am going to start work on OTT (Ottoman Empire). The work is half done, many of the TUR teams can be reused.

Since most of the people directly related to the Ottomans (Generals/Admirals) die around the 1940's, does everyone think it okay if I then include people from Normal Turkey?
