Help: Cannot save game with latest patch

Hi,

With the last patch (2.2.4) I cannot save the game, it is stuck on a autosave date, I try to manually save and it doesn't work. The other thing I see is that I cannot delete games saved. I have tried to uninstall the game (from Steam) and reinstall it but that didn't work.

What I can do?

What you can do? Post in the Stellaris tech support subforum giving all details. Best case you'll get help, worst case you'll be punted to the bug forum.

I realize that's not the answer that will get you playing right away, and someone might be able to help you here in the general discussions forum, but do yourself the favour of posting in tech support to notify the devteam.

Just to make sure you haven't missed something :

Are you playing on ironman?
If you are, you can't manually save but it will save when you exit the game.

To delete saves there's an additional step - in the "load game" window there's a bin next to the "cancel" button. Clicking that swaps the load button for a bin on each save slot. Click that and you should then be able to delete the save.

If that isn't working, and a full reinstall hasn't touched it, then tech support is probably the best option.

Thank you for your reply. Not in Ironman mode; well I did everything you wrote but no success. As you and Peter wrote I'm going to contact tech support.
