I went with okay. I'm new and learned on 3.0. Had a few days with 3.2 and now in 4.0. I like many of the concept changes but not use to it yet. need to get the patch.

I say great job Paradox crew! HTTT is a product that's drawn me back to vanilla from MM, which is something I really didn't think would ever happen. While I feel you could've got a bit further, I love the new feel. A few issues here and there, as there always will be, but HTTT is a real gem.
I haven't had enough time to play it yet to vote. Its been out less than a week, and I had exams until Friday, so I only got much time to play over this last weekend.
IMHO it makes an already good game even better.
It makes EU3 (+NA, +IN, +H3T) vanilla a very good game to play and I cannot wait for the mods I usually play (Magna Mundi and SRI), with all the new CB system, HRE decisions, new papacy etc

I'm amazed out of 368 voters none are of the negative two options with some of the posts I've seen. 
It is a great game. I feel the computers expand and are extremely more agressive, which I'm not a huge fan of. I think this is a result of the removal of the same religious group stability hit when declaring war. Worst of all is the MP crash whenever you try to use the TAB communication. All and all it is a great game and I highly recommend it.

I'd liken HttT to Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword. Neither one is an absolutely necessary addition, but still adds such nice mechanics that it's impossible to imagine going back to the old game.

4.0 is a bit glitchy, but I love the new features and the balance is interesting. I haven't had this much fun playing a Paradox game since the 1.07 or 1.08 EU2 days.
Makes the game fresh again. Changes the scope and strategy. It also adds to the immersion so you get more emotionally invested in the games you play. Overall it adds a lot of character and makes the game very enjoyable.

The criticism of Paradox titles is seldom that they're bad, but more commonly that they're bugged.
It's possible to at the same time think this expansion is great in concept, but horrible in application.
I'm sure I will enjoy this expansion if I get it, but I won't until the MP bugs are fixed.
In the same vein, I'm dead certain that there are plenty of posters here who love the expansion, but are furious that it contains bugs that reduce their fun. It's because people care that they are angry. If Paradox simply made bad games, and not just good games that contain massive amounts of bugs, people wouldn't really complain but simply take their business elsewhere.
I agree that this expansion adds a lot, but needs to be refined because the AI doesn't know how to use the new features (insists on conquering provinces in every war, until their BB is through the roof, for example).

I think its pretty good on the bugs front. Sure we'd always like less bugs but, the game was playable at 4.0.
