Heir to the Throne: Beta favorites

I saw the Developer favorites and I wondered if we could either add our favorites there (after approval of course) or it could be a seperate feature if there was enough of us. In any case:

My favorite new feature is the different kinds of CBs. They add a lot of immersion to the game, it's great to know exactly why you're going to war rather than just "Oh, I have a CB, time to expand", and their differing war aims affect what you can reasonably take in the peace deal:

A personal favorite of mine would be the ability to make royal marriages with the papacy. You won't have to worry about excommunication for a long time if you can marry your son off to one of his illegitimate daughters. Well, assuming you treat her right and don't break the marriage. . . .

But, unfortunately, after some discussion that feature was hastily removed early in the beta process. :rofl: So, I guess a close second would be the new trade league function. I nearly always play a monarchy in EU (meaning I rarely control a trade league), but if you don't have your own center of trade it can be quite handy to exert greater control over where your provinces are trading. Unlike with IN, Genoa is nominally a much stronger center for trade. Its a nice and realistic change.

My favorite would be the CB's. It adds alot of flavor to the game along with all wars not being about expansion. The graphic improvements are also great, my favorite being the political (I think it is what it is called) map. I like how I can see the terrain on that map. BTW If it wasn't to late I would propose calling the expansion EUIII Casus Belli

My favourite apart from the new, improved map, (yay.) is definetly the possibility to reform the HRE. Each reform is unique and satisfying but my favourite is:

My number one favourite (it's mostly vast improvements anyway ) is the knowledge of when a regency council will end. I had the Byzantine Emperor die prematurely in the hard fought Battle of Anatolia, and his 3 year old and abysmal 3-3-3 son as heir, so I had to wait for 12 years to get the next mediocre ruler, and the best: I knew it all the way :rofl:

Hehe, sounds like my 3/4/4 empress living for over 50 years, with a number of 7/8/7 and similar heirs dying along the way...

Personally, can't really say which feature I like best, there's so many good new additions ; you no longer have to wait for a succession war to come along... Just doctor an excuse yourself! The new CB system, especially when tied in with missions. Recruiting the advisor you need (although not necessarily top grade..)

I love the fact that you can see if you actually will inherit a junior. On the other hand I don't like that the criterias for inheriting sometimes are so hard, for example that your heir must be of a certain age so that no regency will occur. On the other hand could my dislike of that be traced from yesterdays 7 hour attempt to inherit the Mamluks. Well, it worked at last!

Seems to me like the title would then become hereditary. Probably one of the things you need to do before you're able to turn the HRE into a nation, which has been confirmed to possible in HttT.
