I for one am not fan of Aerith and Bob and nor do I get people who are.
We have humans with Human names. And we have aliens with non-Human names. What's the problem? Otherwise it would be unrealistic in this setting.

Humans, would already have human names, but why would non-human civilizations have to have human names if they already have their unique names? We have humans with Human names. And we have aliens with non-Human names. What's the problem? Otherwise it would be unrealistic in this setting.

Plenty of reasons, also this can be applied to humans and other aliens interactions with each other.
- inter-species romance: the new parents have a kid either by adoption or birth(if they are genetically compatiable) and use a name from either species.
- Human becomes famous: Say a human admiral by the name of Johan saved the Raksasan Empress's fleet by sacraficing himself against an army of tyranid like aliens and destroyed them. Perhaps some Raksasan decide to name their kids Zohan in honor of this brave human?
- Cultural exchange: As they interact perhaps some Raksasan youth's use human names as a way of "rebelling" against society. Or maybe they like the human name.
- Being apart of alien culture: Maybe they are apart of the human dominated federation of planets where humans are at the top and thus take human style names to fit in with the dominate ruling culture
Regnal is a name assumed once a monarch takes the throne, posthumous name is one given to a monarch after death, and a birth name is one given to the person by their parents.Whhaaatt do those words even mean in this context?
