Heir is not of my Dynasty?

Playing as Naples, recently fought for independence, secured royal marriages with Castile, then Austria and France, won my independence, and later noticed my heir is a habsburg !!!!

why is she not of my Dynasty?

hmm, i guess ill just RP this, as if the newly crowned king decided to make a deal with Austria for their support in the independence war.

they support me and their dynasty gets the throne once my king dies.

it doesn't work that way.

1. it would be highest relative development that decides which RM partner delivers new noble, not prestige (you likely read old version of my RM/PU guide only ) You can get noble ruler of new dynasty, but in that case he will take throne directly, and be 21 years old.

2. Austria likely had 'marriage policies pay off' event, which installed heir of their dynasty in your nation.

If at some point you didn't have any heir.

That event should really have a follow up event for the target country. (Also, make use of event target!)

I just remembered something. The text always says a son, but it can be a daughter! Quite a few patches ago I had a "son" become heir to Castille, heir name was Maria Theresa von Habsburg. Usually I just shrug and move on, but since you've already changed Soiree, might as well.
