Heir changes after holy war victory

Playing as Apulia, every time I would win a holy war, my youngest son ( in this case William ) would become my heir even though my oldest son ( Guy ) is still alive. My current ducal laws are set for the oldest child of the ruler to inherit, females allowed if no male is elligable.

Problem is fixed if I reload. I'm currently playing under the patch 1.4

I just noticed this same issue in my game. I have a save, but I can't attach it because it exceeds my quota.

EDIT: Well if reloading fixes the problem, I guess the save won't be very helpful...

Ok, I've figured out what causes it. Whenever you take over / or build a new temple holding....your current heir becomes the heir to that holding...... thus divesting him / her from the line of succession. Reloading does fix the problem, but it is bloody annoying.

I have also seen this problem twice. Only since 1.04 though.

I get this quite a bit playing as Barcelona as I reconquer the Iberian Peninsula. usually after 6 months it corrects itself, but its annoying to say the least.

The line of succession also fails when another son or grandson comes of age to be included in the list. It happens so often, I can't see how it was missed in play testing.

I have this problem as well after upgrading to 1.04. Playing the Hauteville dynasty, now Kings of Sicily, the line of succession seems to change when I grant titles to my heir or pretenders. (Even works for females under agnatic-cognatic law; granting a county to my son-in-law makes my daughter heir, even though her brother is still alive.)
