So when becoming a hegemon every country gets a −100 opinion modifier towards you.
I generally do not like it, as I dont think clicking the button for becoming a hegemon should have such immediate drastic effects at all. Afterall you are factually in a hegemonial position no matter if you "take the title" or not. Maybe it makes sense from a gameplay perspective, having more of a pros and cons situation. I dont see the point.
But what seems even more odd, is that this applies to vassals as well. I know this has been discussed before, but I was wondering, if this is as intended or an oversight, which will be patched out. Have the devs said something about it?
I am currently in a Castile run and its really hard to even keep the opinions of all my colonila nations and vassals in the positive. Have not tried to integrate a vassel since becoming economic hegemon, but it might be hard to even get the +190 opinion.
Its my first 1.30 run and having good fun with it so far.
