is an alt-history mod based on an excellent AAR by Paradox dev Wiz (beware it's long)!

Wiz started in 1066 in Crusader Kings, and as the story evolved, it transitioned into EU 3, Victoria, and eventually Hoi2. Although the latter was not really as exciting.

The reconquista failed, and muslim Berber Iberia formed. Together with Morocco, they discovered and exploited the Americas. As you can see, Great Britain, Scandinavia, and even France managed to carve out pieces as well.

France failed to unify for various reasons and is now a North Korean style communist dictatorship. They hope to regain territories lost to Germany.

The Roman Empire never fell and expanded into India, but as a result of a civil war, the Union of Rome, with their special brand of socialism controls the provinces of the East Roman Empire, while the monarchist reactionaries are confined to Imperial India.

Germany was formed in 1880 by the duchy of Swabia. They are also the leaders of the still existing Holy Roman Empire. Congo and Ostasien are its colonial territories. The country is an absolute monarchy ruled by Waldemar VII, but the country is crying out for reform.

Lithuania, once the dominant power in Eastern Europe has lost some of its swagger in the aftermath of the Ukrainian and Russian wars of independence.

Russia is a social democracy, having fought a war of liberation against the Lithuanian regime. As you can see, Russia kept going towards the east and even took even most of Manchuria.

The Lombard League and the Italian Commune are the result of a civil war that tore apart the Kingdom of Italy.
Note: The Italian Commune should be technically part of the Union of Rome, but I am not sure the AI can handle the split territory.

Occitania was created as a result of the Stuttgart Congress in the early 19th century, an event much like the real Congress of Vienna.

Berber Muslim Iberia, cause of the Stuttgart Congress. Much like in our time line France had a revolution, so did they. Iberia's Napoleon was the indomitable Zuhriman, who had the decency to die in battle, and not of poison in British exile.

Great Britain managed to colonise much of North America, Australia, New Zealand, Borneo, and the Philippines.
They are also controlling parts of Manchuria and Korea.

Jadakal in South America, is not one of hte original colonial states. It is the result of the conquest of several countries by the Asmunakal sultan.

In the American Federation is a fascist regime has taken power after several disastrous wars with it's democratic neighbour, Mazula. Much of the AF's territories is actually former Moroccan colonies.

In China, the (Ming) Nationalists battle the Muslim Yuan, while Japan is watching closely.

really cool mod! I've got a couple games going as Rome and America. Just a quick question, why are units so slow? The conquest of Mazula takes forever at this speed.

really cool mod! I've got a couple games going as Rome and America. Just a quick question, why are units so slow? The conquest of Mazula takes forever at this speed.
Well I didn't want it to go as fast as vanilla, but now that you mention it, I actually forgot the new map has real world distances. I'll look into it, but if it turns out plain old infantry does a realistic ~20km/day in the game, no changes!

This mod looks really great, even if it's in the early stages! I just wonder why in the alt.history mods, Mussolini has to be on the leftist side...

Well, I suppose it's because Mussolini was a real life commie, and it would be just a shame not to use such an evocative figure.

Wow! I just realize the elections are really unpredictables!! =D However, in real life he arrested and executed a LOT of communist (in example, Antonio Gramsci) and forced to exile the others, so saying that he was a communist, at least after 1919, is offensive for all the comrades and, above all, the partisans of the ANPI who fought against the fascists...

nice mod...maybe i can help you whit some events for Romania but first i need some information about Romania`s history in this time line , from the map i can see it is a buffer sate between Lithuania and The Union of Rome . What is the current political regime of the country ? it the ethnic composure of Romania similar to the Union of Rome ..?

Yes he did, but you cannot deny Mussolini was a communist first himself. But this isn't really the best place to discuss this.

The country itself was created sometime around 1900 in a big reshuffling of borders in the area. It is Lithuania's client, and they have put a dictatorial strongman in charge to build a military able to hold off the communists.

1 Ok i will try to use this to make some events regarding minoritys ..and the player could chose between a one nation state .... or in time can transform Romania in something like OTL Swiss Federation with equal rights for Romanians Bulgarians and Hungarians alike. Question : The Bulgarian , or the Hungarian states can be released in this alternated History ..? I am asking you this because ..i what to give Romania Bulgarian or Hungarian ministers if the country is transformed in to a multi-ethnic federation 2 Can a make a chain of events that will make Romania a free state ..?

Yes, Hungaria and Bulgaria can be released. I am not sure a Swiss Federation thing seems viable.
Democratic, independent, and multi-ethnic seems to be enough of a challenge.

Instead of simply minority related events, might I suggest events related to communist subversion and perhaps other terrorism to overthrow the dictatorial government? Of course that would probably cause Lithuanian/Austrian intervention..

I don't know if you have played the mod yet, but please do before writing events, to get a feeling for the world.
