I don´t like to open threads but I don´t know where to include this small doubt.
It´s about banning heavy traffic.

You can use it anywhere, I suppose it, but it´s only for residential zones really?

I don´t talk about industrial zones (would it be blocked?), but residential-comercial mixed zones (not in the same building).
Can reach the goods the comercial zones if heavy traffic is banned?

I hope I explained it well ...

I think if you ban it in areas that need trucks to come in, there's probably just gonna be small trucks and vans.

I think it too, but I don´t know if there are vehicles like small trucks and vans and if they carry goods.

And if so, do they carry fewer goods?

For what i read if you ban heavy traffic in commercial zones the trucks will not arrive with the goods. But what you can do is to remove a major road or avenueu from the district so the trucks can use them. :) I'll probably do that if i mix residential with comercial, the good thing is that you can tell the trucks where to move so you know where the heavy traffic will be.

Yeah, they are in the game. You can see them in the videos. But I don't really know if they carry goods too. It's just a guess

Do you have any reason to believe this?
What do you mean? I'm just guessing here. Maybe the small trucks and vans can carry goods. I don't think they will be counted as heavy traffic.

Amiths, I think it too (I think too much :D), but if you are really really MIXING zones... that´s no possible.

the good thing is that you can tell the trucks where to move so you know where the heavy traffic will be.
Of course, I like it and I´ll use it a lot :).

Thinking about this, it could be good if we would have the possibilty of the building access from two (or more) different roads, so we could use it like a backdoor for goods (I think it´s not possible as the game has been built).

Thank you for the answer, charlesnew.

So no specific reason to think they can? Just a guess?

My guess is that if you ban trucks from commercial areas then goods will not be delivered to shops.

Well, lets see what happens. We don't know what will happen yet. We all have our guesses.

Watching this video

I saw she builds cargo train terminals, so it only carries goods

And the vehicles that carry goods to the train are these

So there are, at least, vans.

That's not the only place to find vans and small trucks. There are lots of videos and pictures have them. But yeah, you can see how they do deliver cargo, which is good.

no it wouldn't because in real life, almost all market chains order goods in quantity that require loading a truck, not a van.

sdc-supermarket-trailer-v2-0.jpg

Yeah i know that. :(

But that would be a alternative for heavy traffic ban in commercial zones

Anyway i would love to have this problem in my commercial zone, to "unban" some roads to let trucks pass it would be awesome. :D
