I'd argue that the regular fighter company should simply also provide benefits to jet fighters - most early-generation jets were made by the same companies that made the preceding piston-engined fighters (eg. North American Aviation made both the Mustang and the Saber, Messerschmidt made both the Bf/Me-109 and the Me-262, MiG made the MiG-3, MiG-9, and MiG-15, and so on). Similar concepts apply for tactical and strategic bombers.Jets
Issue: 1945 Jet is Outclassed by Fighter 3's
Fix: All around stat buff to 1945 Jet and 1950 Jet. Easy fix.
Add a Jet Designer Company for each major nation, or make Rocket Theorist give buffs to Jets.
Comment: Jet 1 is good but gets outclassed by fighter 3s. Jet 2 outclasses any other fighter in the game.
I agree, but some little flavor that doesn't take long to introduce would be nice, for example, if Germany loses, some events about Allies-Soviet relationships getting worse. And the Soviets invading Manchuria and the partition of Korea don't exist in the game either. And if Germany capitulates the Soviet Union, having Germany annex only lands as far as the A-A line or the Urals and create some independent rump states in Siberia out of USSR collapse, even if they are tags with generic focus trees.yeah, a historical cold war would either be too much work or not fun. I think a HOI game designed from scratch to handle the timespan could do it (or a cold war only game), but not HOI4. That doesnt mean a time extension wouldnt be fun tho, you just have to expect the nukes to fly at some point.

Oh yeah I 100% agree.Reliability should be much lower. I would buff air superiority and nerf reliability to make them higher risk, higher reward.

I actually agree that advanced/vanity weapons like German vengeance rockets or WWI-era jet fighters should only be as good as they were in reality. By the time you get them, the war is nearly always already decided anyway, and they didn't have much of an impact in either case. Build them for role-playing purposes or because you think they're cool, or because you've found some niche for them that you can utilize. Maybe building a few of them could give you a slight war support boost for their propaganda value.Super heavy tank costs 100 and you need 15 of them for batalion. Total cost 1500
Heavy tank costs 30 and you need 40 of them for batalion. Total cost 1200.
If you make super heavy tank costs 70, total cost will be 1050, so Super heavy tanks will be both cheaper and stronger than heavy tanks. I don't think your suggestion is good
