Just organise into geographical groups, recruit more people if necessary, if you have people spread across the globe it will never take off. Have one for western and central europe, an american one, and an Oceania one, it will reduce latency as well, resulting in less dropped connections and mitigating the chances of out of sync.

Okay, HOI4 will be look like this: HAVE ALL UNITS AND BE GONE FM AND BRING ME VICTORY!!!!

EDIT: PS yes I am mad they removed EVERY stage of oob
except that they didn't. They removed the Corps level and changed the army level in a strange general vs FM order.

HOI 3: divison - corps - army - armygroup - theatre (while the theatre in HOI 3 is bascially useless and adds nothing to the flavor IMO)
HOI 4: division - army - theatre/armygroup (theatres are actually armygroups in HOI 4, since you can have several on one front)

I don't like the removal of the corps level either, to be clear. But they did not remove the OOB completely. They just changed it in a strange way that i am very sceptical about

Hello all, is there a chance you can put me on the waiting list if there is space on it.
or is there someone i need to talk to for that?

Well, we do not have a leader of anything, we are Democratic.
Nor are we that organised, perhaps i will start organising things when it is actually released, but i am quite busy atm.

Well the tree structure of OOBs was very good. You had theatres which indicated the region, armygroups which indicated the more precise location and so on.
Now you order your bulk of units under one general or FM.... you have theatre - division. I dont know why they removed oobs anyways, they could have removed the leaders and boni you got from certain HQs so you dont feel compelled to do so. Dont get me wrong: I personally LOVED the whole oob idea. It was strategy in its purest state for me due to the long term effects e.g. in supplies or fuel. chosing the correct leader for attack/defense in advance(org hit) etc. While I can understand the reason the remove leaders from division (sooo many) and removing maybe korps hq units I really can not understand the removal of the way to order your army (whether it be with or without bonuses) in general.

A general commands about as many divisions as a normal Army had in my HOI 3 games (3 Korps á 4-5 divisions makes 12-15 divisions).
A FM commands whatever, and would thereby represent an Armygroup. In the Armygroup, you had several Armies, which makes the organisation structure called "theatre" in HOI 4 basically an Army Group. HOI 3 theatres were just abolished (weren't really necessary anyway).
The only annoying thing for me is, that FM and general exclude each other.

It should be (IMO)
division -corps - general - theatre (commanded by FM).
And rename "theatre" to "armygroup".
Corps as a leaderless substructure under the general, just for organisation purposes.

I found theatres to be very very handy tbh. With BlackICE mod I had several for the eastern front, western, southern front, Reserve, internal security etc.
But thats just me. What irks me the most is the unlimited FM unit thingy. If you could at least organize it into a "FM-> commands up to 10 Generals + infinite divisions(e.g. for heavy panzer abteillungen or commandos) -> Commands 15 . Divisions" I'd be super duper happy.
