You can also role play and use time in-between matches to do the same with your allies, Italy and Germany for example. Should be no more then 2 to a major nation--- 2 fronts, game will not be that complex for 2 or more people to manage 1 nation. And it is unrealistic to think that you will be able to keep a game together with so many people, and half the players have little to do in a single country.
People will quit and leave the game. It is hard enough keeping 5 or 6 people around especially in Sunday only games, Let alone a game where most people have little to manage every session.
Even though I feel a bit of a trollish vibe from Leermeister's previous posts i will have to agree with the point that he's making. Having all of these players in several big nations (eg. USA, UK) going at one speed does sound like it would get a bit stale after a while with the absence of any real progress in the first few years of the game. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of RP as i've always been a big fan but never really did much of it on HOI3 as my friends don't see the appeal. However after thinking about it, it does seem quite daunting having a (massive) 5 players going on one nation considering the things they could actually achieve in the couple of hours of gameplay in one session. Therefore it is in my honest opinion that a reduction in players of one country would benefit us all while still providing for plenty of awesome RP opportunities. The shifting of those extra players into other more minor countries would also spice up everyone's diplomacy up a notch.
If you guys do not like this kind of Roleplay, and don't think it will work, why don't you go make a post about whatever kind of roleplay you want. You are literally contributing nothing here, and you're not gonna convince anyone of your position who has signed up. If it doesn't work, let us make that mistake for ourselves. But obviosly we think it will work. You don't think we realize the problems that we are gonna run into? No most of us realized it. But we are willing to try it out because we like the idea. So please, go away. You are just wasting your own time.
