What kind of nonsense do you talk about? I dont disaggree with their policies. There are no nazi symbols in this thread. I mean, you accuse the forum staff to be discriminating against religions, which i dont think they are.

Really, it started only beeing me wanting to use a swastika for immersion - which i will, and right after stating that you could easily use any "legal" swastika, people start to basically denounce holy symbols als symbols of facism. Its just ridicolous. Okay, i admitt i wanted to use it for immersion, but i am also buddhist (thats not even a lie, since as many of you know, i lived in japan a long time and go there a lot/will move back soon) - and therefore i think its outrageous if people talk about holy symbols as if you can forbidd them. Lets forgett that i wanted to use the symbol for immersion : the mere fact that you say the symbol must be a nazi symbol because the symbol has been used in a variation by some small austrian idiot over 80 years ago makes me just furious.

Its such an outrage how people treat other peoples religions. Come back to earth, saying that you dont like people useing the symbols for immersion would be fine, saying you dont like it would be fine. But saying that the symbols themself are a sign of evil or facism is just .. it makes me so angry.
It makes you as worse as the nazi party, because like them you discriminate against people and religion.

A swastika is no nazi symbol. It has nothing to do with nazis, the Harkenkreuz and the original Swastika are two different things.

I am german, i know very well that the nazi swastika originally was a germanic symbol and that there are also religious symbols that look like swastikas. but they still look very much like the nazi swastika and so shouldnt be used. it doesnt matter what the symbol meant before hitlers terror regime, what matters now is the fact that it got abused b y the nazis and is now a symbol of terror and mass genocide.

You have swastikas all over asia. Over 1 Billion people perceive the swastika as holy, well, 2-3 Billion in fact if we count china e.g, whereas its "devilized" by the minority in Europe and America.

If you go to asia, chance is big that a lot of people will not even know why its considered evil in germany, because people just dont learn about it there, or dont care, and they will get bloody mad at you, if you make fun of it.

Whether or not you are right, if a dev or a mod or whoever decides this is not acceptable, whether or not they are right, then there is nothing we can do, and we will have a setback. I would say I speak for most of us when I say you are probably right, but a mod may think otherwise, and he can shut it down regardless of what you think. So lets just drop it, and discuss the RP again

yeah, well i will make the pics hidden until i got response by a mod, in the meantime i will just look for crusaderkings 2 aar´s and dev diarys that show hindu swastikas, so i can report evryone that ever posted any screen that had one inside.. well and checking paradox extra, working on a list of videos that have to be taken down.
