Thanks just saw the video clips on youtube, for some reasons it didn't have the last part. the link above didn't work or gotten a blank page. So glad G-sus posted that to see the finally chapter. Wanted to take a closer look at the naval engagements, but time going by too fast. Hard to keep track what going on while on the clicking and moving around.

Btw cant believe jakob losing that many submarines, isn't there a rule for engagement? Like avoiding naval warships and focusing on convoys??

I have a question about the WWW.
Could Jakob already send a peace offer, or an offer for a peace conference? Or does one side need to completly surrender for this?
This sentence from DD 31, would imply that you can surrender early.
The losers have no say in this unless they have offered up a conditional surrender early on in which case they must approve the conference as well.

OK, partially relieved that the game (even though with the occasional bug) seems to be delivering... partially mad because I want to play it.

Kudos to the Japanese for turning up to the rave with what appears to be a zero at 46.35 , at least I presume it was the Japanese as its hard to tell.


Overall its one weird looking game perhaps it will start a completely new genre of performance art.

Speed 2 was probably to fast.

The game seems to be very fun to play.
Though the aircombat interface doesn't seem that accessible though.
Both players seem to forget to upgrade their units through experience, it's caped att 500, probably becouse they are busy doing other things at speed 2.

I keep hearing this but why would they have submitted for Beta if they were going to change the AI? Its nice to say but wheres the basis?

AFAIK when they refer to the AI they are basically talking about the AI scripting (i.e., the soft-code that tells the AI what to do) rather than anything deeper.

I have a question about design companies. Do they give the bonuses to all the vehicles they design or just to those highlighted? because i see it very interesting if its the former but a meh mechanic if its 2º
The bonus should apply to all equipments they design. (That means the company who is active, when the equipment finished(?) researching, gives the bonus.)
Some are rather limited. The British Airplane Designer gave a bonus only to specific classes of Airplanes.
Like the CAS Designer only gives a bonus for Close support Aircraft and the Light Aircraft one only for Fighter. So switching the designer around should be expected.

I really like that I can easily see how many infantry/tank/X divisions there are in an area unlike in HOI3. However I have trouble picturing how the front actually looks when you have 5 counters stacked on top of each other per province; how the troops are arrayed exactly and identifying which provinces have weak points and so on in case I want to micro. Zooming in doesn't help much because the view is filled with models and the counters seem to be all over the place. Two suggestions that I'll try to keep simple:

1) I would like a slider in the options to adjust the size of the models. I like them but sometimes there are a few too many things swirling around on the screen. I would probably prefer something like 50% of the current size.

2) What I think would help with clarity is a hotkey (a toggle or hold to activate) that changes the way the counters are displayed: separate and center all counters to the provinces they are actually located in and represent all divisions in a province regardless of type with a single counter and a total divisions number. Just like the counters you see when you zoom out to max distance. The models can stay where ever they are. It would also help with things like selecting the entire stack in a province with a single click instead of drawing a box over 5 counters that overlap counters in other provinces.

so, as i understand it, if focke wolf desing the fw190 it wont get a 20% reliability bonus because that bonus is only for heavy fighters and medium bombers. Rather clunky and ahistorical mechanic methinks

Yes that is correct, but you should often switch companies and plan you research well so you get the correct company bonus.

The game is not designed to be historical accurate.
