Might one ask which platform is the most economically beneficial for Paradox? I mean, I guess you get to keep more money if we buy it from your own store instead of Steam right? Just wondering so I know where to buy it from

As loup99 said, it's of course if you buy it from our own store. Other outlets takes a percentage, naturally. So we are very happy for everyone that wants to buy it from our own store. But in the spirit of honesty. Steam is a more developed platform and offer some things we don't. Like the, nowadays, very generous refund policy. We hope that you won't have the desire to refund Hearts of Iron IV though. But it's up to you in the end

Honestly, if I prefer Steam to your own store, it's not because of their refund system (I don't think I'll refund HoI4, unless the AI is very very bad), but because of the workshop which became indispensable (for example Cities Skyline where I use it to download dozen of assets each days).

When you buy it through our store, you still get a Steam code. Once you activated it on Steam there is no difference if you purchased it from us or directly from them.

No, i got it in 2011 so i never got to experince the issues from launch, though, i really hope when they say their releasing it on Dday, that its already done and they want to check it for issues and not for just because WW2 history.

Plus, my jimmies got a bit excited when i saw research wasn't going to be like Heavy tanks 1-12 but you now research different vehicle designs, something i highly bet modders will use when they start up WW1 or cold war-modern mods a year or 3 from now.

Iirc, you can always "insert" your games ( which you didn´t buy at steam ) by adding the product keys. But I don´t know if that will get you any functionality.

I moved across from gamersgate to steam a while back and found that it varies, some seemed to appropriate full support, others are 'just' registered, even though they might come from the same company, etc. (e.g. EUIV yes, Vicky II no) I'm sure there is a logic behind which is which, but I haven't worked it out (wont claim I tried hard though).

Will the 6thJune release date run from the Asia Pacific side off the the date line or do we have to wait un to the date falls on the USA side of the date line that would make it the 7th June the next day down under so any one form pardox tell use are we looking at US or EU 6th off june date time line .?

There won't be a demo. Our previous experiences has shown that it doesn't work well at all for us with our expansion and patching policy.

Can I get an estimate on how much the game will cost? I live on disability benefits and knowing this will help me with my monthly budgeting for June.

We have not announced any price yet. But I don't think there will be much surprise when we do.

I got a techincal question here. Sorry for being a noob in this case. if i understood correctly, the game can be peordered about a month before the release. Can it be downloaded, but not played from steam from that point or is the download only possible from the day of the release on. I am asking, because i'm moving to a new flat in that time span and I am not sure, if the internet works properly from the beginning thanks @BjornB

I'm afraid that we probably won't be doing any pre-loading sadly. The download will not start until the game is released, unless something changes in the planning. But I don't think it will.
