I think the failures of the stream were regrettable but understandable. I've been there myself - a colleague who's really good at stuff gets sick, and I have to cover for them despite having far inferior skills (but superior immune system). It's something that happens and can't really be helped.

It's obvious that Paradox need to add Field Hospitals to their Support Companies slot so as not to lose this many staff through attrition........

Well an undefended front is zero challenge for the AI, So it is not a true scenario to judge the AI. It was a silly misatake by them.

I promise I meant that as a joke, and I felt like making the joke partly in memory of the time everyone freaked out about the fact the Soviet ai forgot to be turned on one stream and Finland steamrolled it (at least we know now the ai can pounce on a glaring player mistake, which is better than a truly anemic one)

I sincerely apologize to anyone who feels they had their time wasted, WWW is super interesting generally and we always hope to provide with that type of quality content every week. This week however as you know, key parts of what allows us to do that were missing.

Personally I had a great time and even though playing worse than I have probably ever done before we tried to have fun with it to give you something. Fully understand if this was not what you were looking for but hopefully the knowledge that you'll get your fill AND some on monday will make up for it at least a little bit . We tried to mention and define that this stream would be wholly different (and arguably not me nor Carl are really experienced enough streamers to be carrying the WWW brand but we did our best!)

I have gotten some great feedback that I will apply should we ever find ourselves in a similar situation again such as paying more attention to the chat and showing more of the world state on map rather than just focusing on what small corner of the world we're actually doing things! This sort of stuff is great to hear so that we can improve and be great!


But once again, if you feel your time was wasted I do apologize, it was what it was because of reasons.
