So do I get the DLC if I sign up but the progress bar says it has to be at lvl 2 to get it ....I'm confused.....

Yeah, really not clear.

I'm also unclear as to what gets my bar to progress. Only new people that create an account via my link, or do people that already have an account help me too?
Hopefully I did help the people on that page I copied the links...

It's the total number of people that subscribed out of the number that we need to get the unlocks.

For now the bar is at ~11%.

For instance if Paradox want to have 100 000 people on the mailing list, we would currently be at 11 000 people, we would need to have 20 000 people to get the first unlock, then 60 000 people for the second unlock, and 97 500 people for the third unlock.

Of course i made up those numbers. They may or may not represent the actual numbers

Well we need to get as much people as we can to register so that we can get the unlocks and yes everyone who registered get them IF we get enough people in, as far as i understood.

The added bonus is we can get a chance for the beta if we get people to register through our link.

So for example :
I click on your link, I register, I raise the headcount towards reaching the goal, you get one more "referred people"
a dude called FarmerJoe click on my link, he registers, he raise the total headcount towards reaching the goal, and I get one more "referred people"

Now imagine that by the end of the event you get 25 referred people, I get 10, and farmer joe get 0 :
If we reach the goals you get the icon, the DLC, the strategy guide, the wallpaper and a chance to be picked for closed beta
I get the icon, the DLC, the strategy guide, the wallpaper, but no chance to be picked for closed beta
Farmer joe get the icon, the DLC, the strategy guide, the wallpaper, but no chance to be picked for closed beta too.

If we don't reach the goals, no one get anything.
