We also focused on the fact that Poland was way ahead of other countries when it came to the decryption of the German Enigma machine. To reflect this, Poland gets special focuses that give them them bonuses in computing and decryption.

Does that mean that UK version of HoI4 has to be censored? In England this is still classified information.

As long as made-up stuff is cleverly done, it should work out pretty well, I think. :) I really like this particular DLC, and not just because of national bias - it really makes a Poland playthrough an interesting prospect, and adds much needed flavour to ahistorical games.

I do hope some of the naming suggestions make it in eventually, though! It is incredibly weird seeing a 37-tonne light tank next ot a 14-tonne medium and 32-tonne heavy tanks. :p

So, 8TP would work better ? or say Ryś (Lynx?) maybe?

FWIW, naming early Polish tanks should be easy - just see how much comparable historical tanks weighed and base the name on that. :)

For example, if the 14TP medium tank is supposed to be comparable to the Crusader tank (as it seems Poland is supposed to emulate the UK cruiser tank design path?), then it can be renamed to 19TP, since the Crusader weighed ~19 tonnes.

So if the pinnacle light tank is comparable to the Panzer II Ausf. L "Luchs", which weighed ~12 tonnes, then 12TP or thereabouts is a good potential name.

Also, no jet aircraft or halftrack names? Or did you leave them out as a surprise? :p

I think Poland attacking from the space ( moon colonies) will be good
Nah... Only nazis can come from space (eventually commies from Mars).
Forklift is enough for Poland. Actually I'm sure it would waste other mechas with it...

The more I look at the industrial branch of Polish focus tree the more I like it. Does anyone know what bonuses those foci may give? Would it be possible for some of the devs that hopefully watch this thread to give us at least vague description of some of the foci in this branch?

I really hope that in the months and years after release we see all the 'major-minors' get this treatment eventually :)

I agree! Would really help with replay ability as well. Like with previous Hoi's I would do quite a few games with different majors before I spend the next few years trying to do the same with the minors :)

You are nitpicking and you know you are. After winning the Polish-Ukrainian war of 1918/19, Poland fought off the Revolutionary Soviets of the Ukraine and Russia in the Polish-Soviet War of 1919 -1921.You know that is what the fellow was referring to so cut it out. Please.
No, I'm not.
It's the matter who polish fought with - USSR or some rebels.

"some rebels!!!"

lol wow. It was hardly just "some rebels". It was the Soviet Red army. The army that had fought against the germans on the eastern front at the end of WWI, and against the white army that included regular western forces. The Red Army may not have been at their best, they were still forging the country that would be the USSR, the hard and bloody way; but it's surely a bit of a stretch to dismiss them as "just rebels", surely?

So, 8TP would work better ? or say Ryś (Lynx?) maybe?

I will post some wiki links, I know it's not the best source, but at least it's in English so you can read and you will get the idea.
I will do something like that:

Lights:
1. TKS
2. 7TP
3. 10TP(moved from medium with its graphic). It supposed to be a fast tank so it fits the role of the latest light tank, read here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/10TP

Medium:
1. 14TP(moved from tier 2 medium tank, with its graphic). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/14TP
2. 25TP(if it's possible with a new graphic) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/20/25TP
3. Husarz (instead of Huzar)
4. The rest is good
As for the heavies, there were no plans for them, so just try to fit the names with their weights, so their names represent that they are heavier, than the light and medium ones as my Polish friends suggested :), or you can put names like "Twardy"(hard), "Mocny"(strong).
If it's too late to make a one new graphic, or you don't have resources for that, just try to fit them to the tanks, so they look good for their capabilities :).
