Then why bother implying in your first post that a non-authoritarian form of government might exist?
Edit: I also might add that if a system of government (no matter which kind of governance it is) robs an individual of its freedom it is authoritarian. And as I've said there are many examples where this have taken place in a democracy.
And do you have an example of a government that isn't authoritarian?
Such a government doesn't exist, it would be contradictory. As the role of the government is to govern and rule over its subjects.
