Well I am still a little dubious of the Fuhrer Mana as MP is probably THE most hated mechanic of EUIV
That's hardly an uncontroversial opinion.

ACME tank yard ftw.
I'm all for making it possible to bring democracy to Germany with Hitler, but I see a potential problem in making it a national goal - ie. the AI pursuing it, thus avoiding the war.
I can overthrow Mr. H and bring democracy back
Well, some people like the AI to take different paths from our history, but it seems like many don't. So if possible, I think there should be an option to force the AI to choose historical national goals.
Why you... dictatorI cannot be overthrown![]()
Both Porsche and Henschel built prototypes (the German way of doing it was to say what they wanted, and whatever company was interested attempted to build a prototype to the specs demanded). Porsche was so sure that he'd win the contract that they built 100 tank hulls. When they lost the contract, these were converted into the Elefant (later renamed Ferdinand) tank destroyer. One Question: I wonder if different companies will research different equipment!? Like the Tiger was a tank build by Henschel ... will I have another heavy tank model for '41 if I choosed for example Porsche!? Or will all companies research the same tanks!?
the Elefant (later renamed Ferdinand) tank destroyer.
gah, i knew it was way too early in the morning for me to post stuff :/It's the opposite : it was named the Ferdinand by Ferdinand Porsche, then renamed to Elefant to fit the theme naming of German military vehicles (Tiger, Panther, Nashorn, Marder...)
My most educated guess is no. To be clear, what I mean is that regardless of who researched the unit, it will have the same name. And your example doesn't really work anyway. 1) Porsche did participate in the design of the Tiger, and 2) Porsche didn't build tanks (or for that matter cars at the time), they designed them.Very cool .. thx!!!

I'm pretty disappointed by this. I can't see what nation you realistically can simulate with this approach. As you said, we have abstracted it by ideology. Parties in hoi3 never had any impact on the game outside a different name. We will be doing some event chains for relevant democratic nations though to flesh things out there and control heads of state. the system isnt completely in stone yet and we are discussing adding some extra stuff for better modelling, but this is roughly what you will see.
Poland hadn't fascist government. Just becouse president had strong, authoritarian power doesn't mean that it was fascism.
The Sanation government invalidated the May 1930 election results by disbanding the parliament in August[4] and with increasing pressure on the opposition started a new campaign, the new elections being scheduled to November.[5] Using the anti-government demonstrations as a pretext, 20 members[4] of the oppositions, including most of the leaders of Centrolew alliance (from Polish Socialist Party, Polish People's Party "Piast" and Polish People's Party "Wyzwolenie") were arrested[6] in September without a warrant, only on the order of Piłsudski and the then-Minister of Internal Security, Felicjan Sławoj Składkowski, accusing them of plotting an anti-government coup.[7]
the Sanation regime prosecuted communist parties
On the other hand, the Communist party and allied organizations are illegal, and in an address in 1937 General Sklad-kowski said: “We are ready to declare war to the death on Communism.
Poland has no preventive censorship; but when an article displeasing to the authorities is published, they may confiscate the issue concerned, inflicting severe financial losses on the paper.
Under a presidential decree of June 17, 1934, administrative authorities may detain without a court order any person who menaces peace and public order. Thus, the government may resort to “protective custody”— which is a feature of totalitarian regimes—and has used this power to place offenders in the CENSORED at Bereza. Civil liberties cannot be said to exist when government has such sweeping powers. The government radio can be used only by supporters of the regime.
Fascism (/fæʃɪzəm/) is a form of radical authoritarian nationalism[1][2] that came to prominence in early 20th-century
