Unlikely - the game is far too "map heavy" to control with a joystick. Stellaris for consoles makes some sense with the star systems being far more granular. Unless I'm mistaken many consoles support mouse and keyboard input nowadays, but the population of people using them is probably limited.
You could assume there is a reason for that...there aren’t many strategy games on consoles.
I actually don't know much about the Stellais console. Is it the exact same game? Does it work well? Can you MP with PC users?

Stellaris Console got disagreed with into the ground when it was announced.
Gameplay optimizations for HOI4 take consoles into account....you can consider me a lost customer.
I assume no cross platform MP since it's an older version of Stellaris without all patches/DLCs.
Still, I wonder if it will make a lot of money. I don't have anything against consoles...
Things which are more likely:but I do have a dream of perfect cross-platform compatibility.
Nope, that would destroy the Game and it´s advantage over Consoles (Modding, DLC´s with Overworkings and much more). Look at XCom and XCom2 from Firaxis. That Game is only a runner on the PC with that advantages, all others like Consoleplayers have much lesser Gamefeatures / Gamefun.
So it won´t be ever going to consoles, only they upgrade to real PC´s.![]()
