There where horrible things taking place during the war that are forbidden subjects both in the game and on the forums but devastating use of nukes seem perfectly alright to discuss. I never really understood why, but anyhow, thanks for the DD Podcat

Yeah. I have run into this on the forum before. Nukes are far worse than any chemical attacks used in history.

So, if I am getting it right, nuke is a weapon to quickly finish off a practically defeated opponent, without having to endure large casualtes. In other words, exactly why they were used historically in the end of WW2. However, plz make it possible for modders to implement nuke-carrying missiles or even missile-carrying submarines.

I really hope nukes are worth the effort this time around.

I felt they were in HOI3, too. Except of course that by the time you get them in 1944, the war is most likely already decided. Then again, I can picture playing as Germany, being on the retreat in the USSR, and using a series of nuclear bombs to make them surrender even though you only hold a few of their VPs.

Kings do not tend to rule fascist states. Would Mosley or another B.U.F. political not be a better head of government?

Fascism=cool uniforms. Edward VIII has a cool uniform and therefore it is only logical that he should lead the fascist British empire to glory.

What I learned from this DD is if you are fascist Britain you can get nukes before 1940s. With great power comes little to no responsibility towards Nordic people.

Ever thought about a decrease in national unity of the nation dropping nukes? From a realistic point of view, this might be plausible, but I guess it would limit the use very much in game terms?

No? an animation in a 2d map is hard to pull off and I'm pretty sure there was no 2D animation.
