Would be interesting to see a German Polish Pact against the SU, send all of those Divisions equipment for the Polish AI and maybe not worry about the western border at first just launch a joint invasion of the SU and try to get Japan on your side marching in from the East.

That's my plan.

It will be the great crusade of our time: Germany and the Central European states + Japan marching to end the threat of Communism once and for all.

I'll even cut a deal with Britain to eliminate all funding to the Kreigsmarine if I have to. "See, we're not threat to you. Pretty please? I can haz freedom to conquer Soviets?"

If my memory serves, the Poles refused to allow Soviet troops to be stationed in Poland before the war, because they thought they would never leave.

Just flip the script, and German troops will never leave.

Your memory serves you well, though I have some other devious plans with this alternative route where I'll need the Poles assistance  Like a Massive putted Europe with while just taking Austria and leaving a Slovak puppet.

I have no idea what you're talking about and I get the feeling you don't know what you're talking about either.

What didn´t you understand ?
It´s a farly simple aspect : Liberalism is different of democracy. And democracy is a larger and more embracing than liberalism. It´s a injust mistake comparing equally democracy with liberalism.

The point is that is completely unhistorical/unplausible as the Polish gained a lot of Soviet land in the 1920s and they didn't trust at all the Germans. Poland will never give to them access to their land nor fight together. If you think about this situation is very similar to the opposite situation in the 1930s when the Soviets asked to get access to Poland to help the country in case of German attack. Poland refused because of distrust, nationalism, pride, arrogance, etc. As the Allies unconditionally backed Poland this was a key factor to convince Stalin that it would have been for him much better to stay away from the conflict and to make a deal with the Germans.

I'm not entirely sure we are speaking about the same thing.

If there is no Allied guarantee of Poland (for whatever reason) and Germany does not act belligerent towards them, and instead offers them an alliance (via national focus) and then says, "Hey, remember that land you took from the Soviets back in 20s? Yeah, they aren't going to forgive and forget. Join with us and our Axis of Benevolent Anti-Communism Funhouse and we can destroy them." then I think the Poles have something to consider.

Let's keep in mind that allying with the Allies did not result in a fully independent Poland in 1945....

That would mean that Poland should embark in a very big war against Soviet Union just to keep the land taken in the 1920? And this war should have been conducted with a country (Germany) from which Poland had taken so much land in 1918? Can you think that this is a plausible scenario?

The issue is that Poland expanded in Soviet and German territory so, without French guarantee, the country could not survive.

As plausible as the M-R Pact.

I see it as less plausible that Hitler would make such an offer for complicated reasons. But if Poland was offered, say, Lithuania and the Baltic states as their "compensation" for joining the war, I could see them at least considering it. Poland was the government that issued an ultimatum to Lithuania in 1938 and against the Czechs in 38 when the opportunities arose, so it's not like they don't have interests abroad.

Then there's the whole "Prometheism" of Piłsudski aimed at breaking up the Soviet Union, to say nothing of the Intermarium. Piłsudski may be dead in 35, but there's no reason that someone else couldn't try to carry the torch. And a German offer of the kind I describe would fit those policy goals nicely.

Not to mention that the Poles kicked the Soviet's tail portion in the 1919-20 Polish-Soviet War, and I guess I could keep this here Polish-German NAP from the early 30s quiet too. Hitler, at first, wanted to include the Poles in the Anti-COMINTERN Pact.

Wonder if you went down that route you could offer Slovakia to Poland after Munich and the invasion of the rest of the Czech, I know they and Hungary had some claims though as a German player if I aligned with the Poles I'd be more inclined to take the Baltic states for myself for logistical reasons.
