Also why isn't the A6M Zero in the fighter line?A6M2-N is the seaplane version of Zero, not a carrier borne bomber.

The tech tree has regular air force models for its fighters (The Zero is a naval fighter). Hence in the game it would be a special carrier variantAlso why isn't the A6M Zero in the fighter line?
PS: What is this "toaster" national spirit? I assume it's supposed to be coastal forts. A production bonus maybe? Or are they indeed toasters and will ensure a quick economic recovery after losing the war via bonus on small kitchen appliance production?
Its either that or making shit up from scratch, could have doen that also of course. The type 61 development started in like 1955 so its really the first MBT that fits for japan.Am I the only one who finds it strange to find 60ies tank - Type 61 in tech tree?
I think that is actually them showing off most of the navies from both countries, so we can see and compare early game navies. This really does look great, makes me want to try a game as Japan and that's not usually a nation I play in the earlier versions of this game. One thing I noticed that I can't believe hasn't been mentioned yet is that those appear to be two pretty large death star stacks of naval vessels going at it there. Should we infer anything from that or just assume things are still under development? Or maybe this has been discussed before and I missed it.
enjoy arguing what planes would fit better

Type 61 fit way better than fantasy tank for a major.
its the Imperial Austerity spirit. it reduces consumer goods need. We use toasters to symbolize civilian production. I did ask the artist to maek the toasters look nationalistic, but he hasnt gotten there yet![]()

Hey podcat, I have few historical tips for Hoi4 related to Romania.
I see Transcarpatia being given to Hungary, but IRL it was offered to Romania too. Carol II, our ruler, refused to take it because he was supporting the Little Entente and Britain fully.
Also, you can model Transnistria differently. I have many ethnographical maps showing the distribution of Romanian population in Ukraine, and it would be nice to be able to choose an horizontal Transnistria too.
Also, the Serbian Banat was offered to Romania AND Hungary, so it can be divided between them (The southern part of it has a large Romanian minority).
Also, there is the Timok Valley, an Romanian-speaking region of modern-day Serbia. It had a 50-50 Romanian/Serbian ratio back in 1920 and can be used for ahistorical purposes (delimitation of Yugoslavian borders, giving it to Romania in case it joins the war against Yugoslavia, making it a claim in case Romania has a Fascist government and so on).
It's actually totally different, the sun has been moved slightly to the left and has now a more "colorful" red.I love it how people are against Swastika, but they have nothing against Rising Sun flag. Maybe they would care if game was available in China...
That and a serious case of nepotismHistorically more equipment wouldn't have made a difference in China, and I hope this is reflected in game - logistics were Japan's real problem.
A nationalist toaster, what a bold idea!
It's kind of counter-intuitive though since it looks like a toaster assembly line. Something you would more associate with the prospering 1950's USA where every family can afford all kitchen appliances. How an overproduction of toasters represents austerity (as in "reducing consumer goods need") is quite puzzling.
I would go with this image: slim Japanese man wearing a white, torn wifebeater while eating a bowl of rice with a smile on his face.
