While looking for mods I found the following:
1280x1024 Resolution Hack:

0x00242108 04 to 05
0x00242112 03 to 04
0x002E1896 30 to 32
0x002E1897 34 to 38
0x002E1898 38 to 30

I was wondering whether it will work on 1.3 and how to implement it in general?

i don't think that this will work for 1.3, simply wait, until unknown gets a new resolution patch out ( I really hope he does )

1280x1024 resolution hack for 1.3:

$245658 04 to 05
$245662 03 to 04
$2E5A7E 30 to 32
$2E5A7F 32 to 38
$2E5A80 34 to 30

To make these hex edits, you need a hex editor. I used XVI32 which you can download here

Follow these steps:

1 - Backup your Hoi2.exe file

2 - Run XVI32.exe and open Hoi2.exe

3 - Click Address | Goto... and type in the first address

4 - Change the hex value on the left hand side from 04 to 05

5 - Repeat for remaining addresses / values

6 - Save updated Hoi2.exe

thanks for your help, i have absolutly no clou on hexadezimal editing, but with your explanation, it works just as easily as editing event files

now busy playing 1.3 with 1280x1024

i have seen this, and using momentarily some of Erich Hartmanns Skins in 1280x1024 resolution, i even did some skins my self, if want a look check my homepage in my sig
