June 22nd would be perfect. 75th anniversary of Unternehmen Barbarossa!

one would assume , bearing in mind how long it took to get beta clearance, that some point of its development is proving trickier than expected, so i would probably lean more to the longer wait window , and people are setting themselves up for disappointment with all the hopeful guessing :/
So june 6th release?
lol, Haha! Good one. Very appropriate date I might add.32nd Anniversary of the release of Tetris, good pick.
they said 3 to 6 months for beta testing i fail to see how that is disappointment. will there be bugs in the game when it comes out of course there will be bugs, there are bugs in every single game ever released, its why we have patches. they will hopefully get almost all the big ones during beta and minor ones can be fixed with work arounds till patches hit just like eu4.
but beta isn't for adding this and that it is for fixing the problems already present that creep up at times which i believe they can definitely handle in 3 to 6 months or they wouldn't have said that.
no , what i mean is, i guarantee 3 months+1 day from now there will be OMG ITS BEEN THREE MONTHS WHERE IS IT?!?! posts from people who take it too literally
and no, they wont do an early access on steam , they just dont , so dont bother asking![]()

they don't do early access and a bit sad, would be great to have 1-2 months of early access, great help when in need of balancing...
Balancing is all about data on different play styles. Early access or larger beta tester group would provide a bigger pool of different strategies for balancing purpose![]()

Early acces is the worst thing they could do. Since PDS has no financial issues there are no positive aspects of it, it would only create a negative first impression in the press, and in the YT community.
For the beta testing they have a professinal QA team, and the beta testers they invited.
problem with early access is that a lot of people will buy it, complain its not finished and slate it in reviews.
people then read those reviews, assume its shat, and dont buy it
so safer to stay well away tbh
I don't mean to toot my own horn here but for the record I stated the theory that Hoi4 is delayed because of the impending release of Vulkan 1.0 and it just so happens that 3 things just happened all at once to further solidify my theory. Beta submission announced for Hoi4, their AI god of a programmer got moved from EU4 to a "secret project" and Vulkan 1.0 just dropped all at the same time. Even if I am wrong about my guess, the fact that Vulkan 1.0 just released is quite possibly the greatest news in the computer industry in a long time. A crossplatform API that will improve Dev hours for games and revolutionize AI programming. Strategy games, and especially Clausewitz games are going to become 10x better with its implementation. Don't worry Vulkan 1.0 will run on just about anything.
I looked it up on the internet but I'm clueless. What's Vulkan 1.0?
