Then finally I am happy to let you know that our Beta submission was approved yesterday, so we are now officially in Beta. I can't give you any release dates yet, but this is one of the last big steps to nailing one down and saying that the project is on course.
Anyway, we have been working on HOI4 for a long time so you can imagine that this feels really great, and we plan to celebrate with beers and cigars tonight as is appropriate

Its been tested quite a lot already I would hope that timescale could be reduced to around 2-3 months myself.

That'd be awesome, and actually fits pretty well, too, given they've estimated it'll take 3-6 months to test the game once it reaches beta

3-6 months from now would mean April-July. All I'm wondering now is whether Stellaris will arrive before or after HOI4.
I believe the time estimation was 3-6 months, not 3-4. I think everyone in the community and on the development team just wants a relatively polished game at this point, hah.

It is good news. Surely WW2 must begin around the beginning of September?

Awesome news, it's probably coming this summer, BEFORE the vacation. Because we know what happens if Paradox goes on vacation, so it's very likely to be released around July. Maybe even 6th of July, national day here in Sweden.
